Integrated Services on Family Planning, Sexual Reproductive Health (SRH), Gender Based Violence (GBV) and Menstrual Hygiene Management (MHM)

Sexual Reproductive Health (SRH), Prova Society

This project is implementing in the camp 8E in Balukhali, Ukhiya, Cox’s Bazar. Contraceptives are unpopular among Forcibly Displaced Myanmar Nationals (FDMNs) called Rohingyas Refugees. Most of the FDMNs adults have lack of education and awareness about family planning. Every Rohingya couple has six to seven children on average. Bigger the size of a family more is the chance that it would not be able to afford enough food and meet other necessities. Reproductive health services are often available but inaccessible for the Rohingya adolescents and youth in the camps. As a result, there awareness raising activities is needed for the adults and newly married couple of FDMNs. This project will ensure that adolescents, regardless of gender, have access to comprehensive sexual and reproductive health (SRH) information and services, and the supportive and gender-equitable families and communities that they need to be the leaders of today and tomorrow. Eye care is demands for FDMNs.
